Yari: Mumei(unsigned) Kikuchi Yari

Yari in Shirasaya with Koshirae(NBTHK Hozon paper).

Signature : Mumei(unsigned) Kikuchi Yari

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Yari belongs to regular saki.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 19.1 cm or 7.51 inches.
Sori: 0cm
Mekugi : 1
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : Naginata style Kikuchi yari.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach and shirake utsuri appear.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha notare and hakikake style boshi.

Special feature : Kikuchi yari made by Kikuchi daimyo family.
They devices this unusual shaped Yari.
They have fortitude samurai.

Koshirae : Kago Kikuchi Yari means the Yari which was used inside of the Kago
which is a traveling box and the Samurai is preparing to fight in case of sudden attack.
