Tanto in Koshirae

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 20.2 cm or 7.95 inches.
Sori : 0.1 cm or 0.03 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.24 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.43 cm or 0.16 inches.
Era : Middle Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and regular thickness.
Jitetsu : Itame had well grained with jinie attach and rough jigane kitaeware appear.
Hamon : Niedeki Hitatsura hamon.

Special feature : On the tang, The signature is mentioned as Hiromitsu but not reliable.
On the JI, there are some flows and ware but looks old sosyu style hitatsura hamon.
If the blade will be polished, the blade will be nice feeling.

Koshirae : The koshirae is nice item.
Tsuba : Horn.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo nanako plate, some flowers are engraved with gold color.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, long size Chinese phoenix is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black ishimeji and syark skin are convined.
Kaerizuno : Feicui?
This Koshirae(mounting) is pretty nice.
