Shinto:Jyosaku ranking:Musashi province.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 69.3 cm or 27.28 inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.03 cm or 1.19 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.17 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.60 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Early Edo period Kanei era.
Shape : The blade is suriage with signature Izumi Kami .
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare with sunagashi and small kinsuji double hamon and also ashi work.

Special feature : Izumi Kami Kaneshige was called Sukeuemon who lived Echizen province.
First he was named Izumi Daijyo and then he changed to Izumi Kami and worked for Todo Izumi Kami daimyo family.
This sword is wide and thick healthy blade without kizu and flow.
The polishing was done by high ranking polisher.

Historical background: 1633 Kanei 10th Kuroda soudo happened.
At daimyo Fukuoka family was involved family trouble.
