Daiei 6 Nen 8 Gatsu Kichijitsu.

The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Blade length : 62.3 cm or 24.52 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.14 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Muromachi period Daiei era. 480years ago.
Shape : The blade is regular sized with deep sori nice looking shape.
On the ji, a kenmakiryu (a dragon is swallowing a Ken) and Japanese characters Hachiman Daibosatsu which is religious words.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach quite beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki Gubone midare but the hamon is covered by shim.
So it is rather difficult to distinguish the hamon.
Boshi is midarekomi style and turns back.

Special feature : Yoso-zaemon Jyo Sukesada is the top ranking sword maker in Bizen school.
The blade is Zokumyo sukesada which sword is just only Daimyo or top ranking high class ranking samurai.
The blade also very attractive Horimono of a dragon and religious word Hachiman Daibosatsu on the Ji.
The blade has NBTHK Hozon shins paprt.
