Signature : Hizen Koku Kawachi Kami Fuji Shi Masahiro

Shinto : Chujosaku : Hizen
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijo saku, Jojo saku, Jo saku and regular saku)
This Katana belongs to Jo saku ranking.

The blade is polished.
Blade length : 69.9 cm or 27.5 inches.
Sori : 3.0 cm or 1.18 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the Hamachi : 3.11 cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.10 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.76 cm or 0.30 inches.
Era : Edo period around Kanbun era (1661~1672)
Shape : Wide and thick blade with deep curve Standard Kissaki healthy blade.
Jitetsu : Koitamehada-well grained with Jinie attach. Chikei appear and can see the work of texture very well.
Hamon : Gonome-Midare with Ko- Gonome Midare mixed with deep Nioikuchi. Ashi and Yo work very well with Sunagashi.

Special feature : Kawachi Kami Masahiro is a son of Kawachi Daijo Masahiro the first generation. He engraved his signature ‘Masanaga’ at first, but succeeded ‘Masahiro’ signature at 1660 when his father has died. He forged so many blades such like Gunome-Midare or Suguha, till his death at 73 years old.
This blade is having typical round Gunome Midare as Masahiro’s blades character.
