The blade was polished.
Blade length : 70.9cm or 27.91inches.
Sori : 1.5cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.08cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.21cm or 0.87inches.
Kasane : 0.76cm or 0.3inches.
Weight of only blade: 775g
Era : Edo period Circa Meireki (340 years ago)
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with longer kissaki and deep sori nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair up and down.

Special feature : Houki Kami Fujiwara Hirotaka was working at Echizen province as a shimosaka school. His subject is very similar with Shigetaka.
Generally he made wakizashi a lot and a few swords.

Tsuba :On thick iron tsuba, some kind of texture is engraved in open work.
Fuchikashira :Iron plate.
Saya : Black roiro unique design saya.
Menuki : Chrysanthemum design is engraved on shakudo plate.
