Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae

Signature : Senshu Koku Sakai Jyunin Minamoto Moriyoshi Saku

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver Single Foiled Habaki
Blade length : 30.6 cm or 12.04 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.21 cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.50 cm or 0.19 inches.
Era : Modern period.
Shape : It is small Kogarasumaru piece.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is plain hada.
Hamon : Nie-Deki gunome midare. Boshi is round and burned down style.

Special feature : Moriyoshi is a sword smith of Osaka and this piece is rare Kogarasu-Maru piece.
It is hard to be made however, this sword is flawless.

Koshirae : It is wooden koshirae with Ko-ppa tied on.
Menuki : Shakudo plate with pine tree engraved.
