The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 80 cm or 31.49 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.52 cm or 1.38 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.7 cm or 1.06 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Weight of only blade : 1100g
Era : late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is wide(3.52 cm), long(80 cm) with ookissaki gorgeous sword.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with smack ash work.
Special feature : The signature is mentioned as Kurihara Kenji Nobuhide Saku.
But unfortunately the signature is questionable.
So we don't guarantee the signature.
But the blade itself wonderful gigantic sword.
