The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
habaki:gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 68.48 cm or 26.96 inches.
Sori : 2.1 cm or 0.82 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.41cm or 0.94 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.41 cm or 0.55 inches.
Kasane : 0.56 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : middle Kamakura period Syogen era(754 years ago)
Shape : Sinogi zukuri the blade is regular size Motohaba and sakihaba is different Koshizori higher and saki sori add.
The blade is suriage nakago but the whole signature left.
Jitetsu :Koitame had hadatachi jigane jinie attach and midair utsuri appear.
Hamon : Cyoji midair and Gunome midair mixed with ash yo and Kinsuji sunagashi scatter in Ha.
Boshi:Both sides are shallow noter and togari sharp hakikake style.

Special feature : Moriie is called Hatakeda Moriie because he lived Bizen Hatakeda province. According to the book, there are 2nd generation but other expert says, just only one person.
His subject is hadatachi jigane which is rather different from Bizen Osafune school.
This blade is quite well grained with jinie attach and midair utsuri appear and in Hamon, there are many ash, yo work and bright hamon.
The fine points of this sword is zaimei(the signature) beautiful style, the hataraki in ha is marvelous,on the sinogiji, the hi is not exhist(it is very easy to see the texture) and hope to be good investment.
The condition of the blade is perfect without kiss and flow.

Tsuba : The kiku flower shaped iron Tsuba with a design with gold color.
Fuchikashira : On the iron plate, the flower is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Kawarinuri saya
