Iaido Katana

Shinshinto: Chusaku: Musashi
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single Habaki.
Blade length : 76.9 cm or 30.27 inches.
Sori : 2.6 cm or 1.02 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.94 cm or 1.15 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.12 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.74 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : Rather wide and thick with large Sori blade.
There are Bo-Hi and Soe-Hi. The nice shape Katana.
Jigane : The mixture of Ko-Itame Hada and Masame Hada.
There are Chikei.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha base with Ko-Ashi.
Boshi is Notare Saki-Togari gokoro shape.

Special feature : Nakayama Yoshimichi is adoption of Ikkansai Yoshihiro.
He has versatiliy of artistic workmanship.
The blade is wide with Bo-Hi and Soe-Hi.
We recommend this sword for viewing and Iai practice.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Iron Tsuba, dragon and cloud are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Iron, dragon is engraved.
Saya : Dark brown Ishime-Ji Saya.
Menuki : Iron, dragon is engraved.
