Katana in Koshirae

Signature : Mumei (unsigned sword)

The blade was polished.
(some tiny scratches but it is easy to polish away)
habaki:copper single habaki.
Blade length : 72.3 cm or 28.46 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :3.2 cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.28 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
weight: 810 grams.
Era : Late shinshinto to Meiji era.
Shape : The blade has double bo-hi on both sides.
It is rather wide and thick with nice sori
and longer lissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with ashi.

Special feature : The blade is elegantt shape with double bo-Hi.
The blade is well balanced so it is suitable for Iai practice
or Batto(cutting test)

Koshirae :
Tsikaito:brown leather.
Tsuba :On the round shape iron Tsuba, 3 horses and waves are engraved open work.
Fuchikashira :silver plate.
Saya : black roar saya.
Menuki : a horse design is engraved with gold color.
