This Mumei (Yamato Daijo Masanori) belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished
Blade length : 71.5 cm or 28.14 inches.
Sori : 1.7 cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi : 4(3)
Width at the hamachi : 2.8 cm or 1.10 inches.
Width at the Kissaki :2.22 cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : Regular size, nice shape Katana.
Jitetsu :Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie Deki Suguha and Notare Ha mixed. In Ha, there are Ko-Ashi.

Special feature : Yamashiro Daijo Fujiwara Masanori who is sword smith
in Echizen province. He moved from Tango to Echizen Fukui.
He has something to do with Echizen Yasutsugu first generation.
He is also good at engraving. This blade is Suriage Mumei Katana.
This is typical Echizen Shinto Katana.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba with pine tree is engraved. Edo period. Shoami.
Fuchikashira : Iron, landscape is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black roiro Saya.
Menuki : Brass, dragon is engraved.
