Wakizashi in Koshirae.

Bunki 3 Nen 8 Gatsuhi.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword : Bisyu Osafune Katsumitsu(not guarantee) belongs to Jyo-saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :Gold failed single habaki.
Blade length : 59.37 cm or 23.4 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.77 cm or 1.09 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.12 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape : Wide and thick blade with Sori. Almost Katana size Wakizashi.
Jigane : Ko-Itame hada well grained with Jinie attach. The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon : Nioi Deki, Gunome Midare with Choji Midare.
In Ha, there are Ashi and Yo. Boshi is Midarekomi with Yo.

Special feature : We do not guarantee this signature.
But the blade is wide and thick.
We think that this blade was made in Kuwana province
or Bizen province in Edo period(Shinto).
The wide blade of Bunki era is very few.

Koshirae : nice and in good condition.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : Mokko shape, Shakudo Tsuba, wave is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo, dragon is engraved with gold color.
Menuki : Shakudo, Daikokuten(god of wealth) is engraved.
Kozuka: Shakudo, dragon and clouds are engraved with gold color.
Kogatana: There is a signature"Hachimanyama Kiyohira".
