The blade was polished.
habaki : Silver double habaki.
Blade length : 71.1 cm or 27.99 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 3.14 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.03 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.70 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura to early Nanbokucyo period.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage(cut shortened)
Jitetsu : Itame had and ooitame had mixed with jinie attach and chikei work.
The Jigane is blackish hadamono which is visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Koniedeki suguha with soft thick nioikuchi.
Sunagashi and kinsuji scatter in Hamon.

Special feature : Ko Kongo hyouei started from late Kamakura period and continued to Muromachi period.
Especially Ko Kongohyoei's jigane is wild feeling Hadatachi jigane with chikei and fantastic active Hamon.
Recently many sword collectors find much of interest in these sword makers.
