Ouan 4 nen 8 gatsu hi (August 1371)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Bishu Osafune Morihisa belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 26.2 cm or 10.31 inches.
Sori : 0.3 cm or 0.11 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.49 cm or 0.98 inches.
Kasane : 0.34 cm or 0.13 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho period, around Ouan era 1371.
Shape : The blade is rather small size Tanto.
on the front, double Bo-Hi is engraved and
on the back side. bo-hi is engraved.
Jitetsu :Mokume hada well grained with jinie attach and utsuri appear.
Hamon : Konie deki small gunome midare round shape.

Special feature : Bisyu Osafune Morihisa is called Kozori Bizen school.
At a glance, the blade looks Kanemitsu.
The blade has passed about 700 years ago.
So there are small Kizu but not serious.
