The blade was polished.
Blade length : 16 cm or 6.3 inches.
Sori : No Sori
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.67 cm or 1.05 inches.
Kasane : 0.83 cm or 0.33 inches.
Era : Showa period.
Shape : It is thick and wide kasane that seems to remind yoroidoshi. It is healthy tanto.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie base, chu-suguha, boushi round end.

Special feature : Hiromitsu is a wordsmith of Shimane. He is called Kofuji Youya for his real name.
He has studied from his father Kamei Hiromitsu and become a student of Kobayashi Munemitsu at Showa 11th(1936) year.
He has worked at Naval sword forging area from year 15th(1940).
He is born in Taisho 5th year.
This piece is thick and made from the fine jigane of Shimane.
The condition is superb. He has won 6 prizes.
