(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Minamoto Moriyoshi belongs to Saijo saku ranking.
Habaki: gold foild double Habaki.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 28.1 cm or inches.
Sori : 0.1 cm or inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.79 cm or  inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or inches.
Era : Modern times (August 1984)
Shape : Regular size healthy blade.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare with deep Nioikuchi and Ashi.
In Ha, there are Sunagashi and Kinsuji.

Special feature : Tanigawa Moriyoshi was born in 1920. He learned under Kongobyoe Moritaka Yasuhiro
and Enju Taro Nobushige. Moriyoshi made swords at Yatsushiro in Kumamoto pref.
He won a reputation reviving the hamon of Kiyomaro and designated an honorable
Mukansa-tosho at the NBTHK in 1985. He passed away in 1990, aged 70.
This blade is nice copy of Kiyomaro. The Jigane is well grained. And there are a lot of works in Ha.
