The blade was polished.
Blade length : 22.6 cm or 8.89 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.14 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo period.
Shape : Regular size width and thickness, It is mitsumune style.
Jitetsu : Masame hada well grained with jinie attached.
There is chikei attached. Very fine quality jigane.
Hamon : Konie base, deep nioikuchi suguha the boshi is
round and brushed up style.

Special feature : Judging from the date inscribed on the reverse side of the tang,
the fourth generation Michitoki forged this katana.
He is also known as a master swordsith of Sumi Moto-oki in Aizu province.
Their collaboration of Tempo era in 1938 still survives.
The masame is well seen. It is beautiful and clear masame.
