The blade is polished.
Habaki : Gold colored Suaka Habaki.
Blade length : 26.0 cm or 10.2 inches.
Sori : 0.2 cm or 0.08 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the Hamachi : 2.47 cm or 0.97 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Later Muromachi period.
Shape : Standard thickness and very sharp blade.
Jigane : Itamehada is well grained with Mokumehada mixed and Jinie is attached very well. Texture can be seen well.
Hamon : Hamon matches on both sides. Bright Gonome-midare beautiful Hamon.

Special feature : The blade even looks like Muramasa school. Considering bright Hamon on both sides, the blade would be made by a high rank sword smith of Sue-Seki school.

Koshirae :
Saya : Inro Kizami style Black Ishimeji Saya. On the Shakkudo fitting, plum flower is engraved with gold color.
Tsuba : Some pattern engraved on Shakudo Tsuba with gold color.
Fuchi-kashira : Plum flower engraved on Shakudo Nanakoji plate with gold color.
Menuki : Plum flower engraved on Shakudo plate with gold color.
Kozuka : Plum flower engraved on Shakudo Nanakoji plate with gold color.
