Signature: Echizen koku Shimosaka

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 38.5 cm or 15.15 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.02cm or 1.18 inches.
Kasane : 0.52 cm or 0.20 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : regular size Wakizashi with Sori. Shobu-tsukuri style.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame hada and Komokume hada mix with Jinie attach.
There are Utsuri.
Hamon : Ko-Nie deki Suguha with Notare. There are Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
Boshi is round sharpen style.

Special feature : There is Echizen koku Shimosaka which blade was made by 1st Yasutsugu around Azuchi Momoyama period.
But there are many sword smith who by the name of Shimosaka.
However, this blade looks like 1st Yasutsugu's blade and very nice work.
The Jigane and Hamon with deep Nioikuchi are quite nice.
