Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae(NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Paper)

Signature : Kanenori Saku

Sue Koto: Chujosaku: Mino province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Kanenori Saku belongs to Jyojyo Saku ranking.
Habaki: Gold foiled single Habaki.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 33.33 cm or 13.12 inches.
Sori : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.02 cm or 1.18 inches.
Kasane : 0.49 cm or 0.19 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : Rather wide and thick Hirauchi Sunnobi Tanto.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada, well graiend with Jinie attach. It is clear Jigane.
There are Shirake-Utsuri.
Hamon : From Hamachi is Gunome Midare. And then Hitatsura Hamon.
There are Tobiyaki. It looks like Soshu-Den.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Kanenori is a sword smith of Mino province.
The Nakago is Higaki Yasuri. At a glance, this blade looks like Soshu-Den, not Mino.
And it looks Soshu Tsunahiro. The Jigane is nice and a lot of works in Ha.

Koshirae :
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Ishime-Ji.
Saya : Black Ishime Ji Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo, family crest is engraved.
Kozuka : Copper, dragon is engraved with gold color.
Kogatana :
