The blade was polished
Blade length : 38.5cm or 15.15 inches.
Sori : 0.6cm or 0.23 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.22cm or 1.26 inches.
Kasane : 0.77 cm or 0.30 inches.
Era : Edo Kanei period.
Shape : It is Naginata style wakizashi with much width and thickness. It is
Jitetsu : Koitame hada in Masa hada style. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki Gunome midare with bod. There is Ashi attached.
Kissaki si Hakikake style.

Special feature : Gashu Jyu Fujiwara Ietada has been continued for generations
from early Edo Period. It is box like hamon burnt and many works remind of Kanewaka.
This piece is strong Naginata style. It is Ubuwakizashi and the condition is good.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Iron plate with 6 pieces of Aoi leaf eengraved.
Saya: Brown Roiro saya.
Menuki: Shishi design with gold inlay.
Kozuka: Iron plate with cicada design engraved and inlaid with gold.

(We guarantee this blade will pass NBTHK Hozon Shinsa.
We will submit to NBTHK Shinsa if requested. The NBTHK Shinsa fee will be 27,000 JPY.)
