This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver and Shakudo covered on Suaka plate double Habaki.
Blade length : 44.8 cm or 17.6 inches.
Sori : 0.6 cm or inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.86 cm or 1.13 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.19 cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era
Shape : Standard width and thickness blade with long Kissaki.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinori.
Hamon : Nie-deki Notare-ba some Koashi with round Boshi.

Special feature : Heian-jo Akasaka Munetsugu is a swords smith of Yamagi, also called Joshu-ju Munetsugu.
As there are no enough sample for his signature, this blade is not guaranteed.

Tsuba :Round shape iron Tsuba, Horse and man, mountain and birds are engraved with gold color.
