The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 55.0 cm or 21.65 inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.05 cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.95 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with small sori like Kanbunshape.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attach and mokume mixed.
Hamon : Niedeki fut suguha with thick nioikuchi with soft fat ashi like morning mist. In Hamon, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji work.
Boshi is also soft fat deep nioikuchi round shape.

Special feature : Higo no kami Tachibana Yoshitugi was working at Tobu near Edo and called Nemoto Kichibei.
He was a student of the Hojyoji Kunimasa and got the title of Higo Kami.
At Genroku era, he moved to Higo Kagoshima and made very strong swords. He was influenced a lot from Kaneshige and Kotetsu.
This blade is wide futosuguha hamon with fat ash and subagashi, kinsuji which remind us Kotetsu. at a glance, the blade looks very active koto Kouda.I think you will never get tired of looking at this sword.

Tsuba :On the round shaped Yamagane plate, Japanese wisteria is engraved open work.
Fuchikashira :On the shakudo nanako plate, a dragon is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black isimeji saya.
Menuki : On the shakudo nanako plate, a dragon is engraved with gold color.
