The blade has best quality polished.
Habaki: Gold and Shakudo double habaki
Blade length : 47.6cm or 18.75inches.
Sori : 1cm or 0.39inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.11cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.32 cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period circa Kanbun
Shape : It is wide and thick well grained wakizashi. JInie attached.
It is excellent konuka hada(fine grain hada)
Jitetsu : Nie base. Deep nioiguchi suguha with ashi(feet) well seen.
The edge of ha is soft and smoky.
Boushi is also deep nioiguchi and round end.
Hamon : Nie deki, Suguha with deep Nioikuchi. There are many Ashi.
Boshi is also deep Nioikuchi, around shape style.

Special feature : Tadahiro, the real son of first generation Tadayoshi, is a sword smith from Hizen.
The real name was Hashimoto Heisaku yo. He has started making swords after his father's death
and received the name of OumiDaijyo from 29th year. He was at his best at Shoho to Keian period.
He had never received the name of Tadayoshi but he signed Tadahiro. He has received from the domain
mansion and 3.6078m^3 worth of land and has put much of his effort on flourishing the hizento.
He has worked over 60 years making swords. Because he was long living, He has made many pieces with
much variety. He has passed away at the age of 80 at year 1693 or Genroku 6th year.
This piece is sharp; ranked as Oowazamono. The beauty and elegance of his jitetsu was the best of hizento.
He was a great smith rank after his father Tadayoshi. This sword had deep Nioiguchi with bright ha.
It is flawless excellent quality wakizashi.
