Wakizashi in Koshirae

Signature : Mumei (Owari Seki school)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 51.6 cm or20.31 inches.
Sori : 1.68 cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.89 cm or 1.13 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.68 cm or 0.66 inches.
Kasane : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Genroku era.
Shape : Regular size Wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attached.
The hada pattern is well seen. There are Chikei.
Hamon : Nie Deki Gunome Midare.
In Ha, there are many Sunagashi and Kinsuji. Boshi is Hakikake shape.

Special feature : This blade is Mumei.
We guess that this blade is Owari Seki school.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Round shape iro Tsuba, bird is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Kojiri: Iron with gold color.
Saya: Black Roiro Saya is covered with leather.
Menuki: army Menuki.
