Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae (NBTHK Hozon Paper)

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper double habaki.
Blade length : 39.4 cm or 15.51 inches.
Sori : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Mekugi:2
Width at the hamachi : 2.99 cm or 1.17 inches.
Kasane : 0.47 cm or 0.18 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is wide and rather thin and sakizori style.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with masa nagare blackish jigane.
Hamon : Koniedeki suguha with ashi and Uchinoke style
Boshi is round shape Yakisage style.

Special feature :The founder of the Kanenari started Eisho era and continued to late Muromachi period several generations.
I think the blade was made around Eiroku era.
The blade is pretty good condition.
The blade showed typical Mino sword blackish item had with masanagare.
The signature is mentioned as Kanenari which means Kanetoku(Japanese other name:money profit).

Koshirae : Nice Koshirae.
Tsuba :On the round shaped iron stub, a tiger and bamboo are engraved and covered mimi by shakudo plate.
Fuchi : On the shakudo plate, 2 Japanese ships are stopping near riverside with branches.
Kashira :Horn.
Saya : Black roiro saya : small scratches on the saya.
Menuki : On the shakudo plate, some ropes are engraved.
Kozuka : On the shaakudo nanako plate, ume flowers are engraved with gold color.
Kogatana :The signature part is mentioned as crane and turtle.
