Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae(NBTHK Hozon Paper)

Signature : Kiyonobu (Mino)

The blade was polished by good polisher.
Blade length : 40.9 cm or 16.10 inches.
Sori : 0.9cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.13cm or 1.23 inches.
Kasane : 0.84 cm or 0.33 inches.
Era : Edo period Enpo era.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick healthy blade.
Jitetsu : Itame had well grained with jinie attach and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare and togari gunome midare mix.
Boshi is round shape yakisage style.

Special feature : Kiyonobu was working at early Edo period.
This sword is working at Enpo era.
The blade is very healthy without kiss and flow excellent condition.

Historical background: Tokugawa Ietsuna had governed the government.
At Enpo era, big earthquake occurred at Off shore Chiba and Fukushima district.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the syakudo nanako plate, flower is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira :On the syakudo ishimeji plate, man is engraved with gold color.
Saya : black isimeji saya.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, man is engraved with gold color.
