Wakizashi in Koshirae

Signature : Mumei attributed as Sue Soshu

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 44.6 cm or 17.56 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.58 cm or 1.02 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.88 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.53 cm or 0.2 inches.
Era : Mid Muromachi period.
Shape : It is O-Suriage mumei with width and thickness.
Jitetsu : Itame had well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Gunome midair with hitatsura hamon.
There is sunagashi and kinsuji works through the boshi.
It is same midair komi styl in the boshi.

Special feature : This piece is O-suriage mumei sword which is in Hitatsura style.
It is most likely a Sue Soshu piece.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Mokko shape shakudo Ishimeji stub with chrythanthemum flower and leaf design engraved.
Fuchikashira : SHakudo nanawkoji plate with shish dog design engraved in gold.
Saya : Gold nashiji with flower desing engraved at the front and back. It had gold and silver lacquered.
Menuki : Shakudo plate with dragon design engraved and inlayed with gold.
