The blade was polished.
Blade length : 47.6 cm or 18.74 inches.
Sori : 0.6 cm or 0.24inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.7 cm or 1.06 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho period circa Eiwa 1368.
Shape : Naginata Naoshi.
Jitetsu : Itamehada well grained with jinie attached. There are some strong.
Hamon : Nie base gunome mix with some mixture of ko gunome.
There is some nijyuuba sunagashi kinsuji work. Boushi is irregular line.

Special feature : Naoe Kanehisa is a son of Naoeshizu Kanetoshi and has made distinct Soushuden Naoeshizu swords.
This sword is a re-made naginata sword.
There are many activities with chikei and the hamon is nie base funome midare.
IN the ha there are many sunagashi, kinsuji activities.
It shows well the charm of Soshuden sword.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Oval shape yamagane tsuba.
Fuchikashira : Yamagane base.
Saya : Black roiro saya.
Menuki : Shakudou base with bird design engraved and inlayed with gold.

Historical background : Ashikaga Yoshimitstu becomes the third generation shogun.
