Wakizashi in Shirasaya, with Koshirae. (Guarantee : NBTHK Hozon paper)

This sword belongs to regular saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver double foiled habaki
Blade length : 39.8 cm or 15.66 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.88 cm or 1.13 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : The blade was cut shortend.
Jigane : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. It is beautiful Jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with ash and Boshi is Notare Yakizume shape.

special feature : This blade is Mumei, but from Jigane and Hamon
we guess that this blade is Owari Seki school.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the mokko style iron Tsuba some designe are engraved open work.
Saya : Red Saya
Fuchikashira : A person and landscape are engraved with gold color.
Menuki : Shakudo plate, person is engraved with gold color.

We guarantee this blade will pass NBTHK Hozon Shinsa.
We will submit to NBTHK Shinsa if requested. The NBTHK Shinsa fee will be 27,000 JPY.
