Wakizashi in Shirasaya, with Koshirae(Guarantee:NBTHK Hozon paper.)

The blade was polished.
habaki:silver single habaki.
Blade length : 41.5 cm or 16.33 inches.
Sori : 1.1 cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.66 cm or 1.04 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.93 cm or 0.75 inches.
Kasane : 0.51 cm or 0.20 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is Ubu style and regular size with rather deep sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach like Muji style.
Hamon : Nioideki kogunome midare and ko-cyoji midare mixed.

Special feature : The sword looks a copy of Morimitsu or Yasumitsu.
I think the sword must be Hamabe school.
The blade is healthy without kiss and faults.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the syakudo plain plate, a crane and a turtle are engraved by kebob way which design is lucky meaning in Japan.
Fuchikashira : On the brass, ume tree and flowers are engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black roar saya.
Menuki : On the brass plate, kick flowers are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka : On the copper plate, a man is walking with unreal in the rainfall.
