The blade was polished.
Blade length : 52.5 cm or 20.67 inches.
Sori : 1.9 cm or 0.75 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.97 cm or 1.17 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.42 cm or 0.95 inches.
Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with long kissaki nice looking healthy blade.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach beautiful nice texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha based noter with a lot of Ashi scatter.
In Hamon, many snagashi and small kinsuji work.

Special feature : Hojyoji Masahiro was a descendant of the Hojyoji Kunimitsu
and worked at Kanbun era. He belonged to Edo Hojyji school.
Many sword makers like Tajima Kami Sadakuni, Echizen Kami Masateru,
Hojyoji Yoshitsugu were working at that school.
The blade is very similar with famous Kotetsu blade.
This sword is very healthy and fantastic polish and also nice work.
The blade is healthy without Kizu and flow.
