Signature : Kashu Fujiwara Kagehira.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper plate double habaki.
Blade length : 33.33 cm or 13.12 inches.
Sori : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.15 cm or 1.24 inches.
Kasane : 0.53cm or 0.20 inches.
Era : Early edo period.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with strong powerful Bohi engraved.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach blackish well grained texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha with kasha and nezumiashi work
and round shape hakikake style boshi.

Special feature : Kashu Fujiwara Kagehira was working at early Edo period at Kashu province.
He was making swords behind Kanewaka, but his subjects are nice work which is equal in Kanewaka.
This blade is blackish item hada nice charming jigane.
