Shape : The blade is wide and thick with deep sori and longer Hirauchi style Katakiri Hamon sword.
Jigane : Itame-hada and Mokume-hada mixed with Jinie attach and the activity of the texture can be seen very well.
Hamon : NiedekiKko-Gunome Midare and Boshi turns round shape.
Special feature : Sukemune belongs to the Shimada school which started from mid Muromachi to mid Edo period long term.
It is very difficult to distinguish which generation it is. Because each generations are having similar technical levels.
But from the shape, the blade seems to be made around early Edo period Keicho to Kanei.
On the blade, some words are engraved but difficult to say what the sentense is. The blade is having long Hirauchi, Katakiriba and well grained Jigane. We recommend this sword for you.
