Wakizashi in Koshirae

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 58.9 cm or 23.18 inches.
Sori : 1.7 cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.88 cm or 1.13 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.07 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.60 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape : Regular size Katana with Sori. The Kissaki is relatively long.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach and visible to see the texture.
Shinogi-Ji is also same Jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki, rather tight and square shape Gunome Midare.
Boshi is rouns Hakikake style.

Special feature : There is a signature "Tadayoshi Saku".
But this is not geuine. We do not guarantee this signature.
If remove the signature, the blade pass the NBTHK Hozon.
This blade is nice work. It looks like Owari Seki school.

Koshirae : nice Koshriae.
Tsuba : Round shap iron Tsuba, Ume flower is engraved with gold and silver color. Middle to late Edo period.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, dragon is engraved with gold color. Late Edo period.
Saya : black color parallel sloping pettern Saya.
Menuki : horse is engraved with gold color. Late Edo period.
