Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae.(NBTHK Hozon Paper)

Sue Koto: Jyo saku ranking:Eccyu province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki:gold double foiled habaki.
Blade length : 38.31 cm or 15.08 inches.
Sori : 0.66 cm or 0.25 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.89cm or 1.13 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.61 cm or 1.02 inches.
Kasane : 0.72cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period Meio era.1492-1501(about 5 hundreds years ago)
Shape The blade is wide and thick longer healthy blade.
On the Ji, Gomabashi and Bonji and also chain are engravrd.
Jigane:Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach blackish attractive Jigane.
Hamon:Nie deki suguha with double hamon and Kissaki is Togari hamon and turns back.

Special feature :The finder of the Tomotsugu started from Nanbokucyo oeriod to late Muromachi period.
This sword belongs to Meiou era Eccyu province.
The Jigane is wonderful well grained blackish Hokkoku Jigane.
Unusual Chain and Bonji are religious feature
which symbols sometimes see Hizen swords.

Koshirae:
Tsuba:on the Mokko style syakudo nanako plate, sea water's shell
and waves are engraved with gold color.
The Tsuba is called sanmoai awase(Kagamishi) Kokinko Tsuba.
Saya:Aogai chirashi and pine needles style.
Kojiri:on the syakudo ,family crests are engraved.
Menuki:On the syakudo plate, Kirimon is engraved with golsd color.
