The blade was polished .
Blade length : 57.5 cm or 22.63 inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.88 cm or 1.13 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 1.92 cm or 0.75 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : Wide and thick Suriage, Machi-okuri Wakizashi.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with Jinie attach. It is beautiful Konuka hada.
On the Shinogi of both sides, there are some rough skin parts.
Hamon : Koniedeki Suguha with rather deep Nioikuchi.
Boshi is round Kaeri style.
Special feature : Tadahiro (real name was Heisakuro Hashimoto) born as a legitimate son of Tadayoshi the First.
Tadahiro was only 29 years old, when his father passed away in1632 but he
was enough skillful to make sword at that time. Tadahiro designated the
Omi-Daijo in 1641, aged 29 and continued not only forging sword but
also supervised many pupils until his death in 1693, aged 80.
He is known as a skillful swordsmith almost all works are above the standard Hizen blades.
He had been made sword for a long period of time to leave the
largest number of swords in the swordsmiths of Hizen school.
He was good at both of Suguha and Choji-midare Hamon. Especially the beauty of jitetsu called konuka-hada is appreciated as the best among the Hizen blades.
His swords are ranked at the Owazamono because of the sharpness.

On the Shinogi of this blade, there are some rough skin parts.
But it is inconspicuous. And this blade has NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Paper.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the Mokko shaped Shakudo Tsuba, autumn plants and autumn insects are engraved with gold color iroe.
And rim is colored with gold.
Fuchikashira : On the silver plate, peony flower is engraved.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Dragon is engraved.
