Yari: Mumei(Sue-Tegai)

Yari in Shirasaya.
Signature : Mumei (unsigned) Sue-Tegai
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo ranking.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 49.2 cm or 19.4 inches.
Sori : 0.0 cm or 0.0 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Era : Mid Muromachi period.
Shape : Yari having long Kera-kubi very sharpe.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained Masame mixtured with Jinori attached.
Hamon : Nie-deki deep Nioikuchi Suguha and Gonomemidare mixtured Boshi Haikake style. Bright Nie like a silver.
special feature : Tegai sword smith during Muromachi period were called Sue-Tegai. This Yari has a long Kerakubi as old style.
Yari were expendable supplies so most of them were mass production but most of them are not remaining.
This Yari is rarely having a very good work keeping nice condition.
