Dai : Wakizashi in Koshirae(Guarantee NBTHK Hozon Paper)

Signature : Heianjo Ju Fujiwara Nobusada

Shinto: Chu-Saku: Yamashiro
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to regular saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :Gold single foiled habaki.
Blade length : 57.4cm or 22.59 inches.
Sori : 1.5cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi :2.82cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.1cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.6cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Edo Period Kanbun
Shape :It is long wakizashi with bohi engraved at both the front and back. It is regular width and thickness.
Jigane: Itame hada well grained with jinie attached. The hada pattern is clear on the jigane.
Hamon: Nie deki gunome midare with koashi attached. boshi is Midarekomi style. It is round end tip.

Special feature :Heianjyo Jyu Fujiwara Nobusada is a swordsmith
of Yamashiro province. He was active around Kanbun period.

Tsuba: Mokko shape iron tusba with openwork.
Saya: Unique lacquered saya with abalone sparkles.
Menuki: Shakudo plate with flower design engraved and inlaid with gold.

Signature : Bichu Koku Junin Sa Hyoue no jo Naotsugu (Not genuine Signature)

Habaki: Gold single foiled habaki.
Blade length : 43.4cm or 17.08 inches.
Sori : 1.0cm or 0.39 inches.

Width at the hamachi :2.64cm or 1.03 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.98cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.26 inches.
Jidai: Edo period Kanbun
Shape: Regular width and thickness shallow sri nice shape katana.
Jitetsu: Itame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon: Nie deki gunome midare with much sunagashi and kinsuji works appearing.

Signature: The signature is not genuine but if the signature is removed it will pass NBTHK Hozon paper.
This Daisho set is both wakizashi which was quite functional at Edo period when using for business.

Koshirae:

Saya: Unique lacquered saya with abalone sparkles.
Menuki: Shakudo plate with flower design engraved and inlaid with gold.
