The blade was polished
Blade length : 67.9 cm or 26.73 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.83cm or 1.11inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.78cm or 0.7inches.
Kasane : 0.66cm or 0.26inches.
Era : Edo Period Enpo
Shape : It is regular with and thickness. It is nice shape katana.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained iwht jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie Deki Suguha with some Koashi attached.
Boshi it is burned down to the Yokote area(Ichimai-Fu).

Special feature : Hitachi no kami Muneshige has been called Tada Ubee
at Harima province. He was a student of famous Tsuda Sukehiro at the time.
The sword he made is Douranba that is similar to Sukehiro and has made many nice works.
This piece at first glance looks like early Rai school pieces. The jigane is very good.
And the dense dragon Hori engraved on the blade is excellent.
This Hori is engraved at the later generation although the balance is good and nice condition.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round shape iron tsuba with cloud and dragon engraved and inlaid with gold. Nanban Tsuba Late Edo Period
Fuchikashira : Shakudo nanakoji with flower design engraved and inlaid with gold. Late Edo Period
Saya : Black roiro saya with a shell called Ryu-Me is put and polished. It is wonderful piece.
Menuki : Dragon design with gold inlay.
