The blade was polished.
habaki:gold color single habaki.
Blade length : 24.2cm or 9.52 inches.
Sori : 0 cm
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.42 cm or 0.95 inches.
Kasane : 0.81 cm or 0.31 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick(0.81cm) which is called Yoroido-shi style.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with togari gunome midare Sosyu style.
In Ha, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji work.
Boshi is Togari and Yakisage style.

Special feature : The blade is thick and active hamon which is called Yoroi do-shi style which was made by at late Edo period.
I think the blade looks Naohide, Nobukazu or Masao.
Anyway the Tanto is marvelous Sosyu style active hamon.
