Wakizashi in Shirasaya. (Consignment sale)
Signature : Chikuzen Jyu Nobukuni, NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword : Chikuzen Jyu Nobukuni, belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 54.2 cm or 21.3 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.28 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.08 cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.32 cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.69cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with suitable Sori and longer Kissaki nice looking shape and also good Nikuoki (healthy blade)
Jigane : Koitame hada well grained with Jinie attach beautiful texture.
Shinogi ji: Koitame-hada with Masanagare.
Hamon : Niedeki with rather thichk Nioikuchi Gunome Midare and Choji Midare mixed bright Hamon.
Boshi is double circle style turns back.
Special feature: Chikuzen Nobukuni belongs to a stream of the great Nobukuni from Nanbokucho to Muromachi period.
He didn't make so many blades but his subjects are well reputation like this sword.
The blade is bright wonderful his top ranking sword without Kizu and flow.
