Wakizashi in Shirasaya

Signature : Suriage Mumei (Unsigned) attributed as Kaihu school.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 38.48 cm or 15.14 inches.
Sori : 0.30 cm or 0.11 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.19 cm or 1.25 inches.
Kasane : 0.82 cm or 0.32 inches.
Era :middle Edo period.
Shape : The blade is unusual feature like Kogarasu maru.
Jitetsu :Itame had massage mixed with jinie attach.
Hamon : niedeki suguha and then gunome midair.
Boshi is round shape and long yakisage.

Special feature : At a glance, the blade looks like Kaifu school unusual Kogarasumaru shape .
I think The sword had been used as buddist or shrine ceremony.
The blade is healthy and nice work.
