The blade was polished.
Blade length : 31.2 cm or 12.28 inches.
Sori : 0.3 cm or 0.76 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.74cm or 1.07 inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : The Mihaba, kasane both healthy and sakizori style nice looking shape.
In front, double hi are engrave and on the back, bonji is engraved.
Jitetsu : Itame had and Mokume had mixed with jinie attach well grained texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha and gunome midair mixed with ash, sunagashi and kinsuji work.
Boshi is saki togari and turns back like Samonji style.

Special feature : This blade is judged as Shimosaka school blackish jigane and beautiful texture which looks like Echizen Yasutsugu first generation actve hamon.
Early stage of the Yasutsugu was called Shimosaka.

Koshirae :
Saya : Black roiro saya.
Menuki : On the syakudo nanako round shape menki, family crests are engraved with gold color.
