Shinto : Chujyo-Saku : Iwashiro
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 51.7 cm or 20.35 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.81 cm or 1.10 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.16 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo period Circa Kanbun
Shape : It is regular width and thickness with shallow Sori.
It is the shape of Kanbun Shinto. Kissaki is rather long.
Jitetsu : Koitame Hada well grained with Jinei attached. It is clear JIgane. There is Utsuri appearing on the JI.
Hamon : NIe Deki with deep NIoiguchi. It had mixture of Togari ba, Koashi is attached.

Special feature : Oumi Daijyo Fujiwara Kanesada was called Furukawa Mago Uemon and was active during Genroku period.
The condition of this sword is not bad overall but there is unfortunately a Hagire around the middle of the ha.
