Katana in Koshirae.

Signature : Yasuchika

Shinshinto: Ragular Saku: Iyo province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Yasuchika belongs to regular saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 73.8 cm or 29.05 inches.
Sori : 1.9 cm or 0.74 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.21 cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.04 cm or 0.80 inches.
Kasane : 0.78 cm or 0.30 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : Wide and thick solid shape blade.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained and Masa-nagare with Jinie attach. The hada pattern is well seen.
Hamon : Ko-Nie Deki, Ko-Gunome Midare. The Hamon looks like old Yoshii.

Special feature : Yasuchika is a swordsmith of Iyo province.
He is not so famous swordsmith, but there is a lot of variance in Ha.
And the blade looks old. It may have imitated Yoshii sword.
