The blade was polished.
Blade length : 48.0 cm or 18.9 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.4 cm or 1.34 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.4 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : It is wide and thick Hirauchi style wakizashi.
On the nakago it is written in gold inlay Yamano Kanjyuro Maruhisa Futatsudo Kiriotoshi. It is rare piece of work.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attached. There is some chikei works attached.
Hamon : Nie structure, gunome midare with ups and downs. Ashi is attached and sunagashi is appearing.
There is small kinsuji works appearing. Boushi is notare sansaku style round end.

Special feature : Kunimichi was a student of the famous Kunihiro.
There are many sword makers under the Kunihiro like first generation Kunisuke, Kunisada, Kuniyasu and Kunitomo.
Among these sword makers, he is trying to make Shizu style or Samonji.
He spent long life so, he made many swords in his life, but recently it is difficult to obtain his soshu den style swords.
It means that Kunimichi swords are high reported and welcomed by sword collectors.
It is healthy sword with no kizu or flaw.
