Wakizashi: Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Echizen Shinto.

Wakizashi in Koshirae (Guarantee: NBTHK Hozon paper)

Signature : Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Echizen Shinto.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo-Saku ranking.
The blade was polished by good polisher.
Habaki :gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 34.4 cm or 13.54 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.89 cm or 1.13 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.05cm or 0.80 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : The blade is naginata naoshi(the blade was Naginata and later on, the naginata was changed to wakizashi) the blade is wide and thick woth long kissaki nice looking shape.

Jigane : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare and blashi is gunome midare togari and turns balck.
Special feature :This naginata naoshi nice shape wakizashi looks Echizen shinto because of the Jigane and Hamon.

Koshirae : Issaku Koshirae brass koshirae.
Saya : kawarinuri saya.
Tsuba : on the brass plate, some plants are engrave by Katakiri way.
Menuki : a cow is engraved by syakudo plate,
Fuchikashira : on the brass plate, some plants are engrave by Katakiri way.
Kojiri : on the brass plate, some plants are engrave by Katakiri way.

(We guarantee this blade will pass NBTHK Hozon Shinsa.
We will submit to NBTHK Shinsa if requested. The NBTHK Shinsa fee will be 27,000JPY.)
